The source of information that we share is important. When fighting propaganda and misinformation it helps to know what we’re even arguing about (and how to call it out). Increasingly, we’re arguing against opinions or outright fabrications with zero factual basis. That’s not an argument you win, it’s an argument that you shut down. Repeatedly.
Meet The Source
The Source uses AI tools to analyze a statement containing a claim and return the original source of that claim (whether it is true or not). Most people don’t know the source of the misinformation that they are repeating and may not even know that it is misinformation. This tool provides a no-snark analysis so you know what you’re dealing with when you respond.
This is the beta and we hope to soon update The Source with smart labeling engine to not only find the source but provide a nuanced assessment of fact versus fiction. It feels good to know you’re right. Spread that feeling by erasing misinformation.
